The Basement was a perfect setting to showcase these two brilliantly different songwriters. A stripped back and acoustic Gareth Liddiard is a completely different beast to when he is fronting The Drones, but a beast nonetheless! The intimate stage made it feel, at times, like we were all just sitting around like old mates in Gaz's garage, having a few drinks, sharing some laughs and Dan and Gaz pull out their guitars and plays us a few songs.
