Hailing from the north of California, Ashes of Icons sound comes from "European meets North American" metal influences containing a mix of Death, Melodic Death, Black and Thrash metal. Ashes of Icons started as the band Iniquety in September of 2004 in Sacramento California with 2 singer/songwriters Josh Williams and Agata Szabranska bringing different perspectives to a shared vision. The stereotypical sound of a female vocalist is destroyed by the raw and aggressive offerings brought out by vocalist/guitarist Agata.
