1. Asobi Seksu was a dream pop band which formed in 2004 in New York City, New York, United States. The band consisted of Yuki Chikudate (vocals, keyboards), James Hanna (guitar, vocals), Billy Pavone (bass) and Larry Gorman (drums). The band's name in Japanese consists of two words, "asobi" meaning "play" or "for fun", and "sekkusu" the Japanese transliterated word for "sex".
