Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley's 2020 Concert History

Damian Marley is the only child of reggae legend Bob Marley and Cindy Breakspeare, the 1976 winner of the Miss World pageant. Like his father, Damian is a Jamaican reggae musician. His nickname, "Junior Gong," also comes from his father who was nicknamed "Tuff Gong," which in turn was derived from the Rastafarian movement's founder Leonard Howell, who was called "The Gong." Damian began his music career as a teenager when he started The Shephards, a short-lived band that fell apart after only a few years. He released his debut solo album "Mr. Marley" in 1996. It was followed by "Halfway Tree" (2001), "Welcome to Jamrock" (2005), and "Stony Hill" (2007). His brother, Stephen Marley, acted as executive producer on all four.
