Exeter, U.K.-born folk duo Abbe Martin and Hanna Wood (aka Sound of the Sirens) use vocal harmonies to weave tales of sadness, albeit with a positive spin. Martin and Wood met in 2012 while they were both working at the Timepiece venue in Exeter, where, after writing a few songs together, they would play their debut live show. Over the next few years, te duo continued to play live shows, all the while releasing a string of EPs, including 2015's All We Have Is Time.
