Wu-Tang Clan's 1996 Concert History

Wu-Tang Clan is a hip-hop group that formed in State Island, New York City in 1992 when they signed with Loud Records. The following year, the group released its debut album "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)." It featured original members RZA (Robert Fitzgerald Diggs), GZA/Genius (Gary Grice), Ghostface Killah (Dennis Coles), Raekwon (Corey Woods), Ol' Dirty Bastard (Russel Tyrone Jones), Method Man (Clifford Smith), Inspectah Deck (Jason Hunter), U-God (Lamont Jody Hawkins), and Masta Killa (Elgin Turner). They remained together until 2004 when Ol' Dirty Bastard died. In 2007, Cappadonna (Darryl Hill) joined the group. Only one copy of the band's eighth album, "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin," was created. It was purchased by Martin Shkreli in 2015 and relinquished to the FBI in 2018 after Shkreli was convicted of fraud. Between 2019 and 2023, Hulu premiered the three-season drama "Wu-Tang: An American Saga" about the group's formation.
