Everyone thought this was a joke because the Kaleidoscope at the Earl Carroll theater had only been open for less than a month. The shows from the previous year were at the Ambassador Hotel and Ciro's. Just the two events until the owners found the Earl Carroll Theater a year later. People who didn't know about those previous shows couldn't figure out what was going on. It was pretty funny. The show was great. I loved it when the Blues bands would be on the bills with the psychedelic groups.
