$20 Lawn seats. Cypress Hill joined Ministry on main stage riding skateboards during their set. There were several fires burning with people dancing around them during the show which even Eddy Vedder tried to yell at the top of the amphitheater to ask the crowd to put them out. No one could hear him. They just waved. The Mosh Pit, which I joined, was incredible, So many guys ran hard around like wild bulls the dirt kicked up and the grass was worn away to the Georgia red clay. There were vendors selling homemade crafts, concert shirts, etc but most kids couldn't afford that stuff. They had fortune tellers and all kinds of "weirdos" to entertain the walker bys. The second stage had several bands that played in between main stage bands but also at the same time. It's up to dispute what bands played on the 2nd stage that day in Atlanta. The local newspaper only listed a couple but there were more. Cypress Hill wasn't listed or Porno for Pyros. Jim Crow Side Circus also performed with a couple local Atlanta bands.

I was there too. Oddly, I have been looking for photos for years. Remember when Flea came out on stage wearing just a pair of underwear? Or Ice Cube getting the crowd amped up and yelling, “Fuck you Ice Cube!”
The playlist auto-generated isn't correct. Mine is much, much closer but still not exact. The Atlanta show was unique in that no play sets have been found, recordings or video...there were other shows that year in 1992 that were recorded, etc. But in Atlanta, it's as if everyone was high or tripping acid, even the soundboard guys. Who knows. I mean there were literally fires on the lawn. It was absolutely crazy. Only a couple actual photographs can be found. Maybe somewhere, hidden, someone has some recorded that they in over 25 years just have decided to never upload or share with anyone else on the planet from the 92 show. I was there! B One of the best experiences of my life. Eddy yelling at the crowd with a microphone on top of the Lakewood amphitheater at the Lollapalooza 92 Atlanta festival. He was wearing an army helmet. I saw him get up there a couple times with friends I guess his bandmates or other band guys. He was using a megaphone first. And I think no one could hear them so then he went and got a microphone. He was yelling at all the people that were lighting fires all over the lawn dancing around them singing them. He was yelling at him to put the fires out. 🤣🤣🤣😁 Crazy times. Incredible music. Wild people. Gen X officially hit mainstream after this tour.
