Styx played that day along with the other listed bands, but Johnny Winter and Golden Earring were rained out. Crazy day, two or three guys parachuted into the stadium,(Imet one of them a few years later). It was a beautiful day until a wild wind, and then rain, storm blew in out of nowhere, right before golden earring was due to come on. The party in the parking lot (aka the golf course) the night before was epic!
