Going into this show, the opening band was supposed to be White Lion, but as me and my buddy got up to venue, we saw the sign advertising Queensryche instead. I was a bigger fan of them than I even was of Def Leppard, so, we got inside, and made our way to as close to the stage as we could, and it was nirvana for me (the transcendent state, not the band). When they finished their set, me and my friend were making our way out of the crowd to go get a drink, and a fight broke out. It wasn't my fight, but somehow I ended up in the middle of these guys swinging on each other. I got hit a couple of times, but never threw a punch myself, but when security swarmed the area, they threw me out with the rest of them. My friend avoided the melee, but left the arena because I was ejected. I had to make it up to him by going to a future Def Leppard concert some years later, even though I'd lost interest in the band.
