Best concert ever.

I drove to Wheaton, Illinois the day before to my friend's (Stu) house where I spent the next 2 nights. We met up with his friend, Jay, The day of show, we got a later start than we should have, spent way too much time in line to get into the parking lot, and wandered into an almost full Soldier Field before sundown. An airplane flew low overhead with a scrolling message across the wings on the bottom "Pink Floyd Welcomes You". The plane then dropped weighted "sheep" that floated down to the audience.

I was 16 when I saw this show. I went with a friend and it was GA so we high-tailed it to the field right in front of the stage, about 50 feet away. We were able to sit on the field until shortly before the show started due to the amount of people standing on the field. I enjoyed the show until I realized I had not one inch around me to move. At this moment I became afraid of being trampled if something should happen. The crowd didn't begin to thin out until after the encore, which was 'Money', and at that moment I felt relieved. The news reports that evening mentioned an attendance of 60,000.
