The "Duke of Puke" all over the Cellar Door's stage rug. "Mood Ring" wearing kitchen apron and wighat on head, dirty toilet brush in one hand - a plunger in the other. Management replaced the rug - twice! Handed Slim his pink slip saying "Take your act elsewhere". The legendary, fabled Cellar Door, located in the basement at 34th and M streets, was operated by Jack Boyle from 1963 until 1982. Everybody performed there...
