From kissconcerthistory.com:
- July 4th Tennesseen ads erroneously noted July 31. The first two songs of the set were filmed by local station WNGE Channel 2.
- UFO was advertized as the opening act the week before the show with the concert's start time being changed from 8 to 7pm to accommodate the third act. Ads in late-June only list Bob Seger.
- Billboard reported an audience of 8,300 with a gross of $51,800 (8/7/76). It also noted the opening act as ex-Mountain bassist Felix Pappalardi (who had also become a producer -- one whom Gene had invited to the band's Hotel Diplomat showcase in 1973).
