Almost like the original "rave" because it was advertised by mouth at several venues around L.A. and Hollywood before they settled on the fabulous Cocoanut Grove at the historical Ambassador Hotel. It felt funny seeing an Acid Rock show in the lush beautiful old hotel. I could just feel the ghosts of the 1930's wearing their finest dancing in that gilded room, complete with palm trees and Arabian nights feel. It was trippy to say the least.
