I am looking to see if anyone was there and if you remember more. Ms. Raitt was at the end of (I think) her first tour, which was not very successful, according to what she said during the concert. It was a great concert, just Bonnie and Freebo, sitting behind her, back in the shadows. She'd been drinking and was unhappy about how the large venues she'd been booked into had not sold well. Our large, supportive crowd seemed to cheer her up. There was a local record store owner who recommended her and was, at least in part, responsible for the little pocket of fans, out there in the countryside of Connecticut.
