Larry Lynch 2nd Aug 24, 2022

It was a good show Joan Jett can still bring it and her voice is still strong as ever. Poison, really seemed excited to be there and looked like they were having a good time. Motley Crue, I have no idea how the show was. I which I could say I was stoned or not even there but I was there and sober. The sound was awful, I couldn't understand what anyone but Tommy was saying and if I didn't know the songs they were playing I was unable to enjoy the tune. They had these huge smoke machines that filled the whole stadium and could hardly see the big television screen which made seeing the stage impossible. Then when the smoke started to settle they added more smoke than before. For the life of me have have no idea why Def Leppard isn't the headliner for this show. There in the "Real" Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, thay have more records sold and a larger set of hits than Motley Crue could ever dream of. I mean if they put on a great show then I would understand but they didn't and I don't. I will admit I like Def Leppard over the Crue and Def Leppard put on a better show but I have seen them do better. Don't get me wrong the show was great the sound was great and you could understand every word said. But, they seemed rushed. Everything they played was a hit but they didn't have time for a lot of other hits they normally play in a show like C'mon C'mon, Let's Get Rocked, Stagefright, To Late For Love, Nine Lives plus so many more. Come to think about it the tunes they left out would make a hell of a show. Plus, the show itself felt rushed as well, Joe Elliott didn't throw out hardly any anidots or history about the songs, Phil Collin and Vivien Campbell didn't really play and solo's let alone a duet and Rick Allan's drum solo was a condensed version of what he has played in the past and they could have played something that highlights Rick Savage's bass. One major highlight was it was the anniversary of the first day Rick Allen returned after his accident on Aug. 16, 1986
