Originally from Rochester, Minnesota, Yung Gravy (born Matt Hauri, March 19, 1996) is a 1996-03-19 year old comedian rapper who catapulted to international stardom by blending samples from a diverse range of genres with contemporary trap beats and electronic elements. His debut single "Mr. Clean," for example, sampled the 1954 pop hit "Mr. Sandman" by The Chordettes while "oops!" sampled Peaches' electroclash single "F*** the Pain Way" and "Gravy Train" sampled the disco classic "Right Back Where We Started From" by Maxine Nightingale. Other popular songs by Yung Gravy include "Hot Tub" (featuring Dillon Francis and T-Pain) "Magic," and "Betty" (Get Money). Yung Gravy has also collaborated extensively with bbno$. Together, they released the album "Baby Gravy 2" in 2020. Alone, Yung Gravy has released the albums "Sensational" (2019), "Gasanova" (2020), and "Marvelous" (2022).
