In 1967, Chuck Negron joined Danny Hutton and Cory Wells as one of the founding members of Three Dog Night. Partly as a result of Negron's substance abuse disorder, Three Dog Night broke up in 1976. After 15 years and several stints in rehab, Negron recovered from his addiction in 1991 and has since pursued a successful solo career.
