This was Sierra's and I 2nd concert together! She had a good time. It was freezing..and of course she didn't bring her jacket or her license. DRAG. Oh well we still had a total blast. I have been listening to only one of their albums/cds self titled for ever and they played a lot of songs from that one cd too. 1st time for either of us to go to the Belmont on 6th street. They have an outdoor venue though it looks as if you are going inside from the street but its just a closed off patio. Sierra said there were 2 bars there I only went to one of them. That self titled cd was released I think in 1996...nope looked it up it was 93. (she wasnt even born yet) They killed it. Looked as if they had most of if not all of the same band members and their stage presence was rocking! There is just nothing like being there, listening to live music, watching and feeling the emotions from the singer/band from their music they created. All the while feeling the emotions that those songs bring back to you! Where else can you sing/scream at the top of you lungs with hundreds of strangers and fit right in? The The singer Kevin Martin said that he was on mushrooms wen he wrote one of the songs.. Ill have to go back and see if I can remember which one that was. I heard songs for the first time that night that make me want to explore more of their songs. The one they opened with at this time is my Eleanor but i will find it.. I remember felling a deep fuck you vibe from it.. ...HA HA.
