Hazy Malaze is, or was, a power soul trio featuring singer-songwriter Neal Casal, who also has a prolific solo career as well as playing guitar in Ryan Adams' band The Cardinals. They have released two albums - Hazy Malaze, in 2003 and Blackout Love the following year - before being put on the back burner when Casal was asked to join the Cardinals.
