Hot Molasses Concert History

Hot Molasses is Greater Somerville’s most beloved purveyor of power pop.  Named after the Molasses Flood that swept through Boston’s Commercial Street in 1919, Hot Molasses is once again rising to engulf you in its dark tide. The band consists of guitarist/vocalist Ben Abrams, bassist/vocalist Andrew Cohen, vocalist/tambourinist Julia Dickinson, drummer Pete Kriensky, and guitarist Doug Sisko. The quintet delivers tunes that pop like the Go-Betweens, wink like the Kinks, and fall down drunk like the Replacements.
