(no): Mary me youngs historie starta i 2002. Tre venninner med musikk i hjertet tok drømmen sin i egne hender, og bestemte seg for å starte band. Med lånte instrumenter og utstyr fra snille kompiser, og uten egentlig å kunne spille, fant de første famlende øvelsene sted i kjelleren til et menighetslokale i hjembyen Trondheim. Med ordtaket ”øvelse gjør mester” i hodet, ble det tilbrakt utallige timer med øvelse og atter øvelse. Ballen begynte etter hvert å rulle for de tre trønderjentene.
