Spelunking (stylized Spelünking) is an emo/punk band from Detroit, Michigan. Formed in 2012 it consists solely of Derek McNelly in the studio, with other assorted musicians for live performances. Their first EP "Shaggin' Gulls and Kissin' Buoys" was released in September 2012 both digitally and on cassette. Their second EP "Soft Grunge" was released December 2012. Spelunking is expected to release their first full-length LP "In Spelunking We Tryst" in August of 2013.
