TV Yellow는 2004년 LP Boy(Lonely Planet Boy)라는 이름의 3인조 밴드로 출발했다. 뉴 웨이브 사운드를 감각적으로 선보인 그들은 2장의 자가 제작 싱글을 발매하고 다수의 영화, CF 음악을 작업하기도 하며 음악 씬에서 인지도를 넓혀갔다. 2008년 스웨터, 해오 등이 몸담은 롤리팝 뮤직과 계약하며 밴드 재정비와 함께 드디어 꽤 오랜 시간을 공들인 데뷔 앨범을 공개하게 되었다.
