wasted space is a sad punk band currently based in pittsburgh, pennsylvania. born out of bassist and frontperson mikey montoni's love for saves the day and wes anderson, the project started as singles recorded and written in their parents' kitchen. they produced all of the instrumentals themself, and even eked out their first album under these conditions. "like summer, but colder" was released on april 10, 2020, during the height of the covid-19 quarantine in america.
