While Christine McVie (July 12, 1943 – November 30, 2022) was not an original member of Fleetwood Mac, she joined the band permanently in 1970, just three years after its initial formation. She remained with the band until it broke up in 1995. When the band reunited in 1997, McVie returned but departed the following year after she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with other members of the band. After a 15-year hiatus from performing, McVie returned to Fleetwood Mac in 2014. She remained with the band until her passing in 2022. In addition to her duties with Fleetwood Mac, McVie also released three solo studio albums along with a compilation album with Lindsey Buckingham, also a member of Fleetwood Mac.
