This was the first concert I attended.

During Sabbath's set, some guy changed into the Sabbath shirt he had just bought, then proceeded to torch his old shirt. A security guard came over and asked him "What are you, an asshole? And the guy said "yes, I am."

I don't remember the Pousette-Dart Band - maybe I arrived after they finished their set.

I do remember this excellent Yes show - also the laser light show too.

What an experience this show was!

The blazing hot 93 degree day was almost deadly to those of us who were sitting on the astro-turfed field.

Then came the thunderstorm with lightning all over the place causing headliner Aerosmith to abruptly halt their set.

The music? Well, with a legendary lineup such as this, it was as great as you would expect.

Great show!

First and only time I saw Randy Rhoads in concert.

Interestingly, Motorhead was still relatively unknown in America and they got booed somewhat.
