Ed Sheeran (born Edward Christopher Sheeran, February 17, 1991) is a 33 year old singer-songwriter from Suffolk, England who rose to prominence in 2011 following the release of his first single "The A-Team," which sold over 800,000 copies by end of the year. It was included on his debut studio album, 2011's "+." Pronounced as "plus," the album was the first of five to consecutively top the album charts in the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. It was followed by "x" ("multiply") (2014), "÷" ("divide") (2017), "No. 6 Collaborations Project" (2019), "=" ("equals") (2021), "–" ("subtract") (2023), and "Autumn Variations" (2023). Some of Sheeran's number-one hit singles in the UK are "I Don't Care" (with Justin Bieber), "Sing," "Bad Habits," "Shivers," "Perfect" (with Beyoncé), "Shape of You," and "Thinking Out Loud."
