Heart played at the Cape Cod Coliseum, Yarmouth, MA on August 13, 1977 and it is not on this list.
Heart started in Seattle, Washington in 1967 and was originally called “The Army.” The band later became Hocus Pocus in 1969 and then White Heart in 1970. In 1973, they shortened the name to just “Heart.”
Prior to being called “Heart,” the band was called “White Heart.” They took this name from science fiction Arthur C. Clark’s anthology of short stories called Tales from the White Hart. The band, however, decided to add an “e” in “Hart” to make it “Heart.” After using the name “White Heart” for a few years, the band decided to drop the “White” and just stick with “Heart.”
When the band settled on the name Heart in 1973, the members were:
The core, original members of Heart were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 18, 2013 by Chris Cornell.
Roger Fisher and Nancy Wilson enjoyed a short-lived romance in the band’s early years, but their relationship ended in October 1979. This led to tension within the group, and the other band members decided to vote Fisher out. However, he returned as one of the original members to perform at the band’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2013.
Ann Wilson is an American lead vocalist and songwriter for the rock band Heart alongside. She is one of the core, original members of the group. Sputnik Music ranked her as the 78th Greatest Heavy Metal Vocalist of All Time in 2006.

Nancy Wilson is the sister of Ann Wilson. Over the last several decades, she’s worked as an American singer, songwriter, film composer, producer, and guitarist in the rock band Heart. She has been lauded for her unique way of blending hard rock with flamenco when playing the guitar.
Nancy Wilson was born on March 16, 1954, in San Diego, Francisco, California, and is now 70 years old.
