Born the 10 th of September 1976, in Port Kembla, Australia, John de Hosson is the second of five brothers and sisters. His childhood years were spent around the east coast of Australia thus giving him the love of Australian nature he now treasures. John d. started with the violin at the age of three and a half and gradually progressed through the Suzuki Violin Method, completing this at the age of thirteen.
