La Boum Concert History

La Boum is an Edinburgh-based band led by local guitar ace Tom Salter, who learned his chops from Mali bluesman Ali Farka Toure out in Niafunke, and has somehow managed to blend the vibe with Celtic, Congolese and Caribbean sounds - explosive indeed... Tom Salter also plays in the beats n' tunes maestros the Peatbog Faeries, but this is his own work, soulful, melodic and worth checking.
