Lifers Concert History

The Lifers were a Regan-era post-punk band from San Francisco whose style of new wave bordered more on art rock while still maintaining its post-punk ethos. Clangy guitars and Pylon-style drum riffs along with urgently sung vocals embodied a sound that would have given later bands a run for their money. In addition to vocalist Clay Smith, the band was comprised of Michael Stephenson (Bass), David Warren (Drums), and Jeffrey Trott on Piano and Guitar.
