Lil Wayne's 2009 Concert History

Lil Wayne is a rapper and record executive who helped bring the New Orleans style of hip-hop to a mainstream audience. He began rapping at a young age, writing his first song at only eight. Several years later, he was being mentored by Birdman. At 14, he was the youngest member of the Hot Boys. In 1999, he released his debut solo album "Tha Block is Hot" which reached number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. His next two albums were less commercially successful, but with 2004's "Tha Carter," Lil Wayne became a household name. In 2005, he released "Tha Carter II." It was followed by "Tha Carter III" (2008), "Tha Carter IV" (2011), and "Tha Carter V" (2018). In addition to the Tha Carter series, Lil Wayne began the "I Am Not a Human Being" series in 2010 with "I Am Not a Human Being II" following in 2013. Both series are expected to continue with "Tha Carter VI" and "I Am Not a Human Being III" announced but not yet released.
