Slaves (US) Concert History

Slaves was a post-hardcore band from Sacramento, California formed in 2014. After releasing four studio albums, the band broke up but its members would go on to perform a spinoff band Rain City Drive in 2021. The reason for the break-up was expressed in a Facebook post by the band where its members expressed tat while the name was originally meant "as a reference to the bands' battle with substance abuse", they could not continue using the name due to negative racial connotations associated with it.
