Super Junky Monkey Concert History

Super Junky Monkey is a Japanese all-female experimental rock band, with influences from other genres like noise, hip-hop, metal, funk among many others. They were influential in the Japanese Underground of the 1990's, having formed in March of 1991.The band disbanded after the suicide of their lead singer, Mutsumi, in February of 1999. Their last perfomance was a tribute concert to Mutsumi in May. The three surviving members would reunite once more in 2009 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Mutsumi's death.
