I was so excited to go to this show. It was only a few miles from my house. For years I searched for the recording of this show, and finally found it. They had some feedback issues during a couple of songs, so they spliced in recordings from another show. A few songs from their new album were cut from the recording due to contractual issues.

Massive people everywhere. We showed up about 10pm I think the night before. We got caught up in a surge of crushing people pushed up against a fence. It was bad. Really bad. Could barely breathe. After awhile they plowed through the fence and they had to let us inside. The show was fun. Got to see some great bands. We ended up leaving during Aerosmith, we were beat. My dad somehow found us to take us home. He was pissed. Back then there were no cell phones.

Interesting place for a concert. Back then I went to most of nearby shows. The seating was steep amphitheater style, so nobody was blocking your view. I took a bunch of photos that day. Shot with a Canon AE-1 FUJI 35mm.
