This is the notorious concert where Prince was booed off the stage and the crowd had to be calmed down by Bill Graham. I remember it vividly. While Prince's set was a bit "dancy", he was a great rock and roll guitarist. The problem wasn't Prince's music. The problem was that he took the stage after a hyper masculine performance by George Thorogood who played songs like Bad to the Bone and One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer. Prince took the stage wearing basically panties, go-go boots and a trench coat. while performing 'Jack You Off" the projectiles started to fly. No one in rock and roll history is greater than Prince at ducking a beer bottle.
