De Dijk stopt er mee dit jaar. Ik heb ze al meerdere malen mogen aanschouwen en ook deze keer spelen ze de overvolle tent volledig plat. Einde van een tijdperk. Er waren zelfs mensen bij die een traantje moesten wegpinken.

Dizzy Mizz Lizzy staat altijd garant voor een goed optreden. Ook vandaag spelen ze goed. Ook de nieuwe nummers die ze na een vertraging van 2 jaar veroorzaakt door de Covid-pandemie spelen komen er goed uit. De klassiekers als Silverflame en Waterline worden natuurlijk ook niet vergeten

GOEDE OPENER
Parris is een Nederlandse Thin Lizzy Tribute band en mag vandaag Bospop openen. De nummers worden goed nagespeeld. Vooral de gitaristen zijn erg goed. Ook de performance is enthousiast en Parris krijgt het beetje publiek wat er zo vroeg staat enthousiast. Perfecte opener maar het blijft natuurlijk een Tribute band.

Steve Vai speelde in de tent maar de instrumentale muziek hoe virtuoos ook gespeeld begint op den duur te vervelen.

Sting en zijn band spelen natuurlijk uitstekend maar de nummers zijn een stuk anders uitgevoerd. Iets wat vooral de Police-nummers niet ten goede komt. Ik heb ooit betere afsluiters op Bospop gezien
