I believe this may have been the last concert at the Music Hall, it was the last concert I ever went to there. This building was a converted planetarium, and if memory serves, the plaster in the ceiling cracked I believe sometime during Kittie's set, and afterwards was deemed unfit for a future concerts or events of that nature.
It was a pretty badass set.

This was my first GLaSS show, and I don't know if these words can do it justice. 3 days after 9/11, everybody was numb.
The Motet rocked the opener and set the stage for the night.
GLaSS took the stage and just started pumping this energy into the crowd, and they cut loose. The entire first set I was feet from the stage dancing like nothing mattered. They came out for the second set, well just Garrett and his guitar and harmonica, and he played his on 9/11 song. Maybe the most poignant and moving song about that tragedy IMO, and the first one I had heard. Hearing it for the first time right in front of us and feeling that emotion, I'm not ashamed to admit there were tears in my eyes. Then they picked it back up with an epic second set and it was like soup for the soul. I've seen lots of GLaSS shows since then all around CoS and Denver and also Asheville, but that show will always be the best one in my memory.
I got a chance to meet Garrett after a show in Asheville last year, and tell him the story about how 20 years before, they helped heal a crowd of complete strangers just days after one of the worst tragedies we've ever seen. It was cool to take a minute and tell him this story that I've carried with me, and he's as chill as you would think.
