actually pumpkins didnot even play a whole song then corgan started saying hail satan and bcrowd stated booing and he said it again really goy the crowd booing he started playing a fast riff and saying fu to the crowd of all the concerts ive seen never seen a group get booed off the stage t6hat was crazy im from pittsburgh and oklahoma is in the middle of the bible belt like 7-11 church on every corner.........

I remember this show pretty vividly. It was still more than a year out from Smashing Pumpkins releasing Siamese Dream. Even though Gish had been out for awhile, nobody in OKC really knew who they were. I certainly didn't. As I recall they played a couple songs and they did not sound good. There was a chorus of boos raining down and they cut their set very short and got combative with the crowd before leaving. Then I remember sitting in that upper deck seat for what seemed like an eternity waiting for GnR to come out. I think it was close to midnight before they started. It was a crazy late night!
