Jerry put on an incredible show! Played several songs off of his new album that were excellent, plus songs from the self-titled Alice in Chains album and Dirt, including Hate to Feel which is one of my favorites. Unfortunately he didn't play anything off of Jar of Flies which was a little disappointing, but all in all it was a great show!

Had floor tickets for this with my good friend from high school Tait Humphries. It was very appropriate for us to be there because they played five songs off of Somewhere in Time, which was the first Maiden show we went to in 1986! The highlight of the show for me, though, was The Prisoner which I had never seen them do live and is one of my favorite songs by them. Their energy level is amazing and they always have a great stage show. The opener, The Hu, was a Mongolian band. Their style was very interesting as they incorporated musical forms from their cultural tradition and heavy metal. It made for quite the combination!

Having been an Armored Saint fan, it was a bucket list show for me! This was the first time they had been to NC in 40 years so it was the first time I had a chance to see them, and they didn't disappoint! I believe they are better now than when I first started listening to them in the mid-1980's. John Bush's voice hasn't lost anything and his energy on stage is awesome. They did several songs off "Symbol of Salvation" from 1991, which I think is their best album, so that was a nice surprise for me.
W.A.S.P. also put on a surprisingly good show, with a heavy concentration of music from their 80's albums when I used to listen to them.

All the bands were great, as expected. I had seen KSE and ABR before and knew how good they were. The highlight, though, was seeing Howard Jones and Jesse Leach singing together on stage. It was beautiful!

First time seeing Return to Dust and was blown away! Love the return to the grunge sound. Talked to the singer at the merch table and he was incredibly nice and grateful that we came to see them. Chevelle put on a great show, as always. They definitely know how to get the crowd into it!

Return to Dust put on an amazing show as an opening act! Still on the first nationwide tour, they have gotten a much better stage presence in the short time since I saw them open for Chevelle in July. Also, super nice guys to talk to! Sevendust put on a great show. Though I hadn't seen them before and wasn't very familiar with their music, you can tell that 27 years together has made them tight! The singer had great interaction with the crowd and an incredible voice. I would definitely go see them again.
