My one and only time seeing my musical hero. The club was packed, I think it held maybee 6 or 7 hundred people. I was pressed up against the high stage all night. Rory was phenomenal, either playing his '61 Strat or fingerpicking country blues on his Martin acoustic or slide on his Tele. Time wears away memory but my one distinct one was when he played the opening riffs of Shadow Play, he bent down and played it right in my face, stood up, and duckwalked away. He blew the crowd away that night. RIP Rory.
