Rick Gould, the guitarist in Stack, was my boyfriend at the time and he brought me to see him play, I had no idea who Alice Cooper was. Seeing Alice Cooper before they were famous still blows my mind.
Also, I had such a vivid memory of the night but I had NO physical proof, ticket, flyer or photo. I was pretty sure it was the White Room; we went there a LOT. Rick played there a lot! But until the internet rolled around, it seemed unlikely I’d ever be sure if what remembered was actually accurate. I’m ecstatic it was.
