Jolly Roger, the Cornish sea-punk folk band known for their high-energy performances and pirate-themed music, is set to bring their unique sound to Belgium on an acoustic tour. Originating from Penzance, they blend Celtic punk with maritime shanty rock, using nautical themes to explore topics like mental health, loss, love and the ups and downs of life.
Since diving into the music scene in 2019 with no prior experience, JollyRoger has quickly made a name for themselves, performing at major UK festivals like Glastonbury. For this acoustic tour, they’ll strip back their sound, offering a more intimate, soulful experience. Expect an evening of captivating stories, humor, and melodic shanties that showcase the heart of JollyRoger’s DIY pirate folk spirit.
