Music sounds better with you is a Stardust cover. That made the night even better! This was a 3 hour set that started at 8pm over at 11:30ish. Pizza next door a Sgt Pepperoni’s. Veggie was awesome so was pepperoni, but should have had 2 veggie. Had an ohana faygo. I got there late, before 2nd set, but got in free. Met a dude named Brian that is with Dixon’s violin. This show is 1st Lotus without Bill Waterstone. I cried happy tears though I got emotional thinking about 1st show like this solo, still worrying about catching COVID again, having time of my life, only 1 beer no party favors & yet I was where I was supposed to be. 1st time with new guitarist not the Mike we know & I got a string from. New guitarist is named Mike too I think? He’s really a rock n roll guy & kicks ass. Different feelings being without Bill & Alex grown & Mom gone. This concert was a great dance party. Different tunes. I wanted to here desert blooms, plucks, transfixed for sure from new album. Didn’t get my Lotus classics.
