Ted Nugent was the opening act on this tour. It was rumored that the bands were having a hard time every time Nugent want on. He was stealing the entire evening from the get go. So they only gave him a 30 minute set. By this time on the tour, I guess it was a problem for everyone including Nugent. He tells the audience that he’s only allowed to play for 30 minutes, he hesitates for a few seconds and says, it’s OK, it’s all I need. He immediately breaks into Stranglehold, then you understand why the other bands were a little frustrated. As it turned out, this was my second time I saw Kansas. I had previously mentioned that I only saw Kansas once, my bad. The opening act stole the show. I have to admit, I was there to see him too.
Tickets $6.50 In my opinion BOC and Kansas kicked Ted's butt. Very 1st concert
