Burger fiends, rejoice! The Triffid is stoked to announce the highly-anticipated, carb-loaded and significantly saucy return of Brisbane Burger Fest this July. The first fiesta since 2019, the event is returning in full force (you’ve been warned!).
What’s the lineup, you’re wondering? We’ve got everyone’s favourite OG, Brooklyn Depot, the ‘fritzen delicious Fritzenberger, and of course, the famed Ze Pickle, firing up the grills as we speak.
And it doesn’t stop there – you’ll find Fortitude Valley sweethearts, Hashtag Burgers & Waffles, the unapologetically cheesy Remy’s, plus more exciting vendors to be announced soon – ready for a day of feasting.
Be sure to show up with a grumbling belly and stretchy pants, as each vendor will be flipping a range of their famed burgers along with a festival exclusive that will be available for one day only. Previous years have gotten wild and wacky, with donut buns, bahn mi burgers and more.
Of course, no burger conquest would be complete without a beverage to wash it all down! We’re talking ice cold drinks from your favourite local craft breweries and event sponsors, Stone & Wood and Heaps Normal – alongside some specially curated Burger Fest cocktails, including a Bundy Dark & Stormy to die for!
Pair your burgs and bevs with live tunes from local legends, including Melaleuca, Radium Dolls, The Dandys, Lucid Safari, Pipin, Bean Magazine, Echo Wave, Fleur Fatale, Demi Casha, and Huxley & Frial. Showcasing Brissy’s best bands, these acts will have you up on your feet, no matter how intense the food coma!
The ultimate day out for lovers of food and local tunes, punters can take their shot at the plentiful games happening throughout the day. This year’s Burger Fest will be hosted by none other than Jonny Drama, known for his MC antics with the Brisbane Bullets, Gold Coast Titans, and Eat Street Northshore.
Pair up with your hungriest and most competitive mates for your shot at the crown of the Burger Eating Competition, before cooling off at the almighty Beer Pong Tournament for a chance to take home a custom beer pong table. Meanwhile, the little ones can enjoy epic games and face painting, with plenty of epic prizes up for grabs.
It’s all going down at The Triffid on June 24th from 11am. Tickets are just $15, with under 15’s enjoying free entry. Bring along the family, mates, your fur baby, you name it – we want to see you there!
