That’s Amazing.. sound like an incredible show

On Thursday night Digable Planets came to The Lou (St Louis, MO) to reignite their fire of protest that started more than 30 years ago. The three MCs--Ishmael “Butterfly” Butler, Craig “Doodlebug” Irving, and Mary Ann “Ladybug Mecca” Vieira-- rapped with conviction, sincerity, and energy.
Their LED screen flashed jazz greats like Miles Davis and Charlie Parker. Digable Planets were not the first to synthesize jazz and hip-hop, but they are the G.O.A.T. They came with the usual offerings of modern-day concerts, the conventional T shirts. However, they did not anticipate the demand of their fans because they ended with no shirts left prompting “Butterfly” to jokingly offer the 1x shirt off his back for sale ($500). Furthermore, they were selling Vinyl copies of Blowout Comb, their second and final album, first released in 1994 and now returns in the form of this vinyl reissue from Light in the Attic. Planets was amazing and their choice of Kassa Overall as an opening act was genius.
