03/01/2026, Update: Wow!, what a fuckin’ hot show this was. Two stages, but I only concentrated on the main stage. And there’s a reason for that. Thanks to Román and Juan Tamayo, they reserved me a seat in the VIP Viewing Section. Once I sat down, I didn’t want to move and lose my location, which was excellent, it was everything I expected.
I arrived at the venue at 12:30pm, early as usual. It made for a long day though, but it’s cool.
All of the bands were on fire, the ones that stole the show were Mephistofeles and Pelican. I must admit, I wasn’t too impressed by Primitive Man, I was expecting something else.
Appcalipsis was a good opening band, then came Mephistofeles, from Argentina, making their Mexico debut. I’m so glad I saw that, it’s the band that I wanted to see.
What can I say about Pelican, that hasn’t been said already. They were fuckin’ hot. I still liked their San Francisco Fillmore show better, I guess because it was my first time seeing them, and their second Bay Area performance in 11 years, it was their second SF debut, that’s why.
As usual, YOB were great, they too made their Mexico debut at this festival.
All in all, a great time. I saw Gerardo and Juan and Román, it was great!

02/06/2026, Update: Well, I bought my tickets,
the Doom Fest ticket and ODM Bus ticket for the Doom City Fest, so I’m ready. Tomorrow I’ll reserve my room at the Hotel Stanza, in Roma Norte district of CDMX. I’ll give Juan a call in about a week to check in on my possible VIP seat. I’m hoping that he can help me out. That’s it for now, I’ll keep you posted.

12/07/2025: As of today, I still haven’t bought my ticket yet for Doom City Fest. Late February, 2026 is still a few months away. I’m waiting for an answer from my friend Juan Tamayo who is trying to arrange a seat at the VIP Table/Section.
I really wanna go, but it’s an all day event, and I’m hopeful to sit for a better part of it. Lucky for me, Juan is working on it, and I will buy a ticket.
I reached out to him yesterday, so I’m waiting for a response. No hurries, no worries, February is still a little down the road. So that’s where I’m at.
As usual, I’ll keep you posted.
