(Some setlists could be incorrect. For example, David Byrne's one was way shorter but the site uses the wrong date I think)
With Erwin, Frank and Erik.
It was very hot, every day.
Drove there with Frank en Erwin
It was quite windy, which made building the tent hard.
MGMT wasn't too good. Sound was shit as well.
Jon Hopkins was cool. However, Open Eye Signal was far from as good as on Pitch in 2015.
Queens of the Stone Age was quite nice. Their old stuff >>> new stuff. And Josh please stop with things like 'watch your fav dj do this' when your drummer does a drum solo (plus I hate drum solos)
La Femme was alright but had a glorious broodje makreel after walking away.
James Holden was nice but it was so hot and no caterpillar
Idles was fantastic as always. Left early for David Byrne
David Byrne was the highlight. I like visually interesting performances and this is one of them. Like Humans Do and Lazy!
.Paak interested me approx. 0
Moses Sumney was gorgeous, some really nice moments but also some slight drags. Enjoyed it.
Suuns amazing as always. Was sorry I forgot my earplugs.
Nils Frahm was beautiful. Sound was perfect. Some songs too long, but Hammers and Says were goosebumpy.
Watched some of Franz Ferdinand. I bored, you bored.
Notes: Nasi (was quite good), broodje makreel (lovely), poke poke (too expensive but kinda liked it still), arepa kaas kip (not bad), waffle with banana and whipped cream (like!). The cola was goor. Showering for 1 coin lol.
